This unspoilt corner of Cornwall (one of the last) is surprisingly accessible. Situated 20 minutes from both the many attractions of historic Plymouth (National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth Hoe, The Mayflower Museum etc.) and also from the classic chocolate box Cornish fishing village of Looe with its picture-perfect harbour and cute beaches.
In the immediate area, you'll find plenty to do; plenty of beautiful coastal and inland walks for all abilities, we are right on the South Coastal Path, a choice of secluded beaches, rock pools and surfing breaks and friendly local pubs and restaurants. We particularly recommend a crab sandwich at the Jolly Roger Cafe or a pint of local ale at the Finnygook Inn.
For the golfer, there's also the Whitsand Bay Golf Club right on your doorstep. 18 holes played right along the coast and into the valley provide for one of the most picturesque rounds you'll ever play
Whether you're bringing the family, the dogs or a group of friends, this is a great place to stage your authentic Cornish adventure.
